Ryleth pinched the top of her nose to center herself and clear her vision. She’d been reading books in the crypt all day. She hadn’t even bothered to take them upstairs where there would be better light and a nicer view. Fae could see well in the dark so dimness like this with a lantern next to her was more than enough light to read even the most spidery script and the view would have only distracted her. Besides, she was quickly finding that every book she picked was not the one she wanted. Better not to waste time walking up and down stairs and corridors to find another handful of tomes. And this book before her was no exception.
While fascinating in terms of its work on elemental magic, this book does not seem useful to our current problem.
