The sun was just peeking above the horizon as Thalanil sipped his tea on the balcony, a fur blanket around his shoulders. Miles came over and adjusted the blanket so that it covered more of him before sitting back down himself. The young man was colder than he was. He had offered for Miles to stay inside, but Miles insisted on being by him.
“I promised Finn I would,” Miles had answered slightly mulishly and kept to his side.
